The SOSV VC-Founder Deep Tech Matchup is a free, virtual week of one-on-one meetings between deep tech founders and active investors, taking place November 16–20, 2026. SOSV, a leading deep tech investor with hundreds of portfolio companies, organizes the Matchup alongside its Deep Tech Summit.

How it works

1. Register. Founders create a company profile; investors share their focus, sectors, stages, and geographies.
2. Request meetings. Participants get access to the Grip platform to find relevant matches and send requests.
3. Meet. Meetings are double opt-in, 20 minutes long, and held online at mutually convenient times.

Sectors include AI and advanced computing, biotech, pharma and therapeutics, medical devices and diagnostics, energy, robotics and automation, semiconductors, space, defense, advanced manufacturing, materials, food and agtech, and more.

Who can take part

• Founders building ambitious deep tech startups and looking for relevant investors.
• Investors who actively write checks: VCs, CVCs, family offices, syndicates and angels. Service providers and intermediaries are not eligible.
